The lovely Carolina Kleinman, argentinian musician and fashion designer, is based in Tepoztlán Mexico, a beautiful town nestled in the sierra an hour outside of Mexico City. Carolina and her husband, photographer Ivan Belaustegui have created their own magical utopia.
I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with her in Brooklyn. She shared with me her colorful and rich collection, as we connected with our passion for textiles, weaving and indigenous cultures. Floating around the streets of Williamsburg carrying her children line to Allegria Boutique, I fell under her magnetic spell. Her warmth and beauty is abundant, every aspect of her life is creative and nourishing. A mother to a beautiful boy, she dedicates her time balancing every aspect of her life. Carolina K is an inspiring mother, wife and designer, wanting to make a difference through grace, dignity and humility. I love connecting with such inspiring and positive women.
Carolina’s line is inspired by her world travels across Latin America and India, her most influential creativity comes from indigenous cultures, markets, people and history. Working with underdeveloped communities in Latin America, supporting factories and artisans who work within the guidelines of Fair Trade regulations.
