We welcome the winter solstice, a sacred time, marking the shortest day and the longest night of the year on December 21st. The Solstice synchronizes exactly with the end of the 5,125 year cycle of the Mayan Calendar. This moment is considered a unique time to join with others around the world to pray for peace. As we search inside our self, we listen in silence to our hearts. A time of contemplation and illumination, releasing what is not needed for the new year, transforming energies dissolving all fears and expectations.
“Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who returns to the clan to teach and share medicine. Wolf medicine empowers the teacher within us all to come forth and aid the children of the Earth in understanding the Great Mystery and life”.

Wolf is a wise teacher, giving us guidance to recognize the truth, teaching us to trust our intuition. The medicine and teachings of the winter solstice is to be connected with our heart in times of darkness.
A time to let go and journey into the dream-time, into the underworld. As we enter the cave of darkness, and bid the Sun goodnight, we become still, blessing the inner fire that will keep us warm during this time. In the stillness of winter, we will learn to reflect and digest our current situation, allowing us to process the change that is needed for the new year.
This winter solstice marks a time of deep change and transformation, a portal for spiritual opening is being accessed for our hearts to connect with Father Sky and Mother Earth. A time to bid farewell to the past, opening up to change, allowing new possibilities and energies to inspire our lives and relationships. We invoke peace, serenity and harmony to all aspects of our selves, birthing wisdom, love and kindness. Inviting light in our paths, as we welcome a new dawn. A time of forgiveness, allowing us to be humble and thankful. The shift of the Ages is upon us, and we are being called to prepare to hold sacred space for ourselves, our families, and our world. Gather with friends or take the time to be alone to offer prayers for peace for all being and creatures everywhere.
“O Great Spirit of our Ancestors, . . . Give us the
wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect, and
to be kind to each other so that they may grow with
peace in mind. Let us learn to share all the good things
that you provide for us on this Earth”
